Good Morning! I'd like to make you all aware of a few updates and changes to the system.
New, important, and very helpful feature added: With special appreciation for the hard work of Mr. Grun and Mr. Horowitz, we now have a new feature that will help
solve a common problem.
Scenario:
You were expecting a client for a Psych Rehab session (for example), but when you look at your Tasks, you see the session was scheduled as a Psychotherapy Event (for example). How can you change an Event from the one it was scheduled as, into the one that
you would like to perform?
Solution:
In
Service Entry, find the row with the Event in
question and click Actions, and then click Complete
As. Select the type of Event from the drop down that you would like this to be completed as.
You will then see the originally scheduled note appear on your screen. Do not despair! Just click
Cancel, and then you will be returned to Service
Entry, where the corrected Event will be listed. Just click on the event, and you will be in the desired note. (if this sounds confusing, I just made a video to demonstrate this and posted it in the Netsmart Guidance - Clinician Tab).
What happens if my supervisor rejects a note?
- You will get an alert in your Alerts box, along with the reason for the rejection.
-
You can access the note from Service Entry to reopen, modify, and resubmit.
How should I indicate location for school sessions?
In the "Contact Information" section of the note, do the following:
- Location Box: If the name of your school is in this drop down menu, click it. If the name is not there, click "School"
- If you clicked "School" in Location drop down, move on the "School" drop down, find the school name, and click it.
- For Telehealth, follow steps 1 and 2, and then click the "Telehealth" box in the "Modifier" section.
And, for those who are curious - Upcoming Changes to be announced soon (after they are fully tested):
- There will be a modification to how the Treatment Plan section of session notes looks. This will solve the problem of being able to know which modality is nested under which Goal / Objective.
- We will have a new feature to allow staff to correct errors on already signed notes.
Details and more videos coming soon....
